pdf-to-autocad
The new kid on the block, AutoCAD 2010 has some really cool and new PDF features in this most recent version. Even though we’ve been able to export AutoCAD drawing files to PDF for sometime, it hasn’t been possible to bring those PDF files back into AutoCAD. At last, with AutoCAD 2010, this top AUGI wish list item as been fixed.

The PDF file in reality becomes an underlay when brought into AutoCAD. You can clip the underlay, snap to it, control layer display, etc. If you are using the Ribbon, just go to the Attach option of the Insert tab to import the PDF otherwise you can key in the new Attach command. With the help of this command you’ll find the option of inserting a PDF file as an underlay. You can find more of this free AutoCAD tutorial at Cadalyst.com
